Exercise to music

My Keep Fit class runs on Tuesday mornings 10-11am. It currently has about 15 ladies attending regularly, aged 50+ with a range of abilities and fitness levels. It is suitable for just about everyone and you will find you can exercise at your own level throughout the class.
It costs £5 per week, with a complimentary first class for you to try. It’s a very friendly group and you will almost definitely know someone when you get there. It’s a nice way to meet local people too.
I vary the class each week using simple dance moves for pulse raising sections and provide apparatus for strength building. We don’t go down on the floor as I find it is quite unpopular; we are able to utilise equipment to replicate the benefits of floorwork.

I am a fitness instructor with 30+ years’ experience in the industry. My physical activity background and influence are dance & movement but along with additional qualifications, including cardiac rehabilitation, specific health conditions and lifestyle training, I specialise in community group exercise classes for older adults with an emphasis on improving health and wellbeing for life. I have a passion for delivering safe, effective, enjoyable and achievable exercise classes to enable clients to improve their physical & mental health, their functional fitness and to achieve their personal goals and desired outcomes. I bring my knowledge, expertise & experience in fitness and health to individuals by giving them the tools to help themselves with their fitness; improving cardio-vascular health, mobility, strength, pain management and confidence.
